My Bulletproof Recipe

After sharing my bulletproof coffee on Instagram and Facebook I have been asked multiple times for the recipe, I decided it was time I shared my recipe with you!


I am not here to tell you why you should drink Bulletproof Coffee - I'd like to empower and encourage you to do your own research and decide if it's for you, I will however share my experience and why it's my daily choice of warm goodness.

I started drinking Bulletproof Coffee over a year ago after reading about it online, the theory behind Dave Asprey's Bulletproof Coffee is that you are drinking clean and non toxic coffee with added Fat for brain fuel and a longer lasting energy source.


INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of brewed Bulletproof Coffee

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

1 tablespoon of Brain Octane or MCT oil

1/2 teaspoon Jing Adrenal & Kidney tonic


METHOD:

Add two tablespoons of ground Bulletproof Coffee to a french press, boil one cup of water and combine the two. Allow to brew for about four minutes.

Once brewed, add coffee and other ingredients to a high power blender and blend for 10 seconds.


I personally like to add Cinnamon Powder for it's immune boosting - blood sugar stabilising properties and SuperFeast 'Jing' Kidney and Adrenal Tonic.


The main difference I notice when drinking this coffee compared to an Almond Latte is how satisfied I feel until about lunch time - I also have a longer source of energy and don't experience as much of a 'dip' in the afternoon.


I now enjoy this coffee most days at home and have an almond latte when i'm out - who will be serving the first Bulletproof Coffee in Darwin?
